Category-based selection (Express Entry)
Category-based selection is a way of selecting candidates from the Express Entry pool, not a fourth immigration program. The Minister establishes categories to meet economic objectives. Each round invites eligible candidates in CRS score order. You must still qualify for one of the three programs — CEC, FSW or FST — and enter the pool first.
