Which high-wage occupation are you in?

From November 3, 2026, IRCC awards extra CRS points for at least 12 months of Canadian work experience in a high-wage occupation (70, 40 or 20 points), or for a job offer in one (100, 70 or 50 points). Whether an occupation counts is decided by the median wage of its whole NOC, not your own pay.

IRCC says existing profiles will be recalculated after the change, which may take up to two weeks, and invitation rounds will pause during that time. IRCC page

Pick the NOC you have worked in (or have an offer in) in Canada:

At least 2× the average median wage (+70 work experience · +100 job offer)
